Five things to do this holiday in Seattle

Seattle is known as an open-minded city. That being said, you should be sure to shop locally whenever possible. In addition to supporting your local economy and community members; many individuals in Seattle find that purchasing products with the help of small businesses helps them feel more connected to their communities.

Look no further if you’re looking for the best places to shop locally in Seattle. We have rounded up five of the best places worth visiting in Thurston County where you can get your hands on the best local goods and meet some talented farmers, artisans, and chefs.

    1. Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market is a great place to shop locally in Seattle - if you aren't already familiar with this historic neighborhood in downtown Seattle. It's known for being home to hundreds of different shops and eateries with outdoor seating overlooking Elliott Bay and Pioneer Square. The market is open year-round, but it's especially busy during the summer months when tourists flock here. Take time to know The 5 Best Things About Summer In Seattle.

Pike Place Market is one of the most iconic places in Seattle, and it features hundreds of stalls selling everything from fresh flowers to souvenirs to jewelry (including some unique finds) as well as food vendors offering everything from burgers to BBQ ribs and seafood dishes like dungeness crab legs or freshly caught salmon, other handcrafted goods, and many more!

Therefore, if you're looking for something unique or handmade, this is a great place for you.

    2. Seattle Antiques Market

The Seattle Antique Market is a unique spot where you can find antiques and collectibles from people who have been bringing their treasures to the market for decades. The market is open every day of the week, and it's one of the best places to shop locally in Seattle.

It is a must-visit for anyone who loves to shop for local art, crafts, and antiques. The market has been open since 1976 and has grown into one of the largest and most popular markets in the city. It's located on Second Avenue between Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square.

In addition to antiques, there are also art galleries and jewelry shops with handmade items made by local artists who live in the area. This is one of our favorite things about Seattle — we love supporting local artists by shopping their wares in person!

Also, there are plenty of restaurants nearby if you're looking for some food inspiration.
