5 Best Things to do in Los Angeles this Holiday

Los Angeles is diverse and the most cosmopolitan city in Southern California. It's easy to understand why many have referred to it as "the city of tomorrow.". This city is bursting with fresh concepts, originality, and invention, especially during the holiday season.

The holiday season is in full swing, and there's no better time to explore the magic of Los Angeles. But if you're looking to add charm to your holiday celebration, Los Angeles has plenty of things to do.

We've put together a list of the best things to do in Los Angeles this holiday season:

    1. VISIT THE LOS ANGELES WIZARD WORLD OF HARRY POTTER

If you're a Harry Potter fan or a tourist visiting the city, they got something for everyone. The Harry Potter universe is known for many things. Still, one of its most fascinating aspects is the magical holiday season.

Visit one of their themed experiences at Universal Studios Hollywood or Universal City Walk! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is home to all eight Harry Potter-themed lands, including Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade Village, and Hogwarts Castle,

Every year, Hogwarts students put aside their differences and get together to celebrate the holidays, making Diagon Alley's magical forests seem like a temporary winter wonderland.

This year's celebration will be even more fun if you're planning to visit Hogsmeade Village with your family or friends.

In addition, it has over 25 shops, restaurants, and other attractions. Come dressed up in your best wizard robes because they can't wait to meet you!

    2. HEAD TO THE HARDWOODS FOR THE GRINCHMAS FESTIVAL

The Grinchmas Festival is a festival that celebrates the holiday season with lots of fun and holiday spirit.

You can celebrate Grinchmas on select days in December at Disneyland® Resort's Fantasyland® with special holiday activities and treats for all ages, including gingerbread snowflakes, a sweet holiday train ride, and more!

It also features live entertainment, a "Santa Experience", exceptional holiday food, and a chance for kids to take pictures with Santa Claus.

Over at the Hardwood Amphitheater, you can catch all of your favorite songs from "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and other holiday classics by The Sherman Brothers and others. Actors will be on hand to portray different characters from the movie and interact with you throughout the night. They can't wait to meet you, so come look your best in a Los Angeles City Comfort Long Sleeve T-Shirt!

    3. EXPERIENCE THE HOLIDAY AT DISNEYLAND

The place to go if you like theme parks is Disneyland.

Disneyland, located in the city, will transform the holidays into an enchanted world of holidays. The park is always open this week and offers engaging entertainment throughout the day.

The Holiday at Disneyland is full of magical experiences, from meeting Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse to taking part in thrilling rides like Space Mountain and Splash Mountain or catching a concert at Tomorrowland Terrace Theater.

The park has announced that it will be hosting its annual Christmas Day parade featuring floats from around the globe. The event will kick off at 10 am on December 25th, and it's free to attend!

You can also enjoy nightly fireworks over Main Street, USA, at 9 pm each night through December 24th. Several other holiday-themed events are also happening throughout the park, including carolers, storytellers and even shopping opportunities!

The park is packed during the summer and Christmas when it gets even more crowded. But if you want to relax and watch some fireworks shows, the park is still worth visiting during the winter when crowds are smaller, and prices are lower. If you have yet to go, now is the time to visit!

    4. TAKE THE KIDS TO SEE SANTA AT THE GROVE

The Grove is hosting a holiday-themed Christmas Light Festival. From December 1st - 22nd, there will be over 85 animated displays, including a giant Christmas tree and over 60 dancing holiday characters. The children's activities will include crafts, games and more.

The Grove is a place to bring the whole family and enjoy some of Santa's favorite foods. The food court will have more than 20 choices, including a Gingerbread Cookie Jar, Cinnamon Roll Wagon, and Churro Cart.

    5. LOS ANGELES HOLIDAY PARADES

LA's Holiday Parade is one of the most remarkable events ever. The parade features floats and marching bands, with new themes for the floats every year. This year's theme was "A Magical Christmas," so there were many snowmen and elves.

The L.A. Times Holiday Parade is one of the most popular events in Los Angeles each year.

The parade starts at 10 am and lasts until 3 pm, but because it is in the middle of rush hour on a weekday afternoon, allow plenty of time to park and plan if you like.

It's best to arrive or stay out late (or both!) if you want to see the parade, which lasts roughly an hour.

The holidays are a fantastic moment to catch up with loved ones and friends. But the best way to do that is by spending quality time together in a beautiful place. Los Angeles has plenty of options for an alternative to the hustle and bustle of the season.
