Here are 5 great places to shop while you're in San Antonio.

    1. Historic Market Square

    San Antonio's Historic Market Square has long been a favorite place to go shopping. It covers three city blocks and is divided into the Farmer's Market Plaza and the El Mercado.

    This Historic Market Square is home to a variety of shops that sell locally-made items, including artwork and jewelry. Here you will find the likes of Odd Fellows Lodge, which sells antique furniture and other decor items. 

    You can also find many other local businesses in this area, including a few great restaurants, like The Plow, which specializes in homemade soups and sandwiches, and that are all located within walking distance of each other.

    2. Feliz Modern

    If you're looking for a unique gift for a friend or family member, check out the Feliz Modern store on North Main Street. With a shop space of more than 40,000 square feet.

    This stylish shop has plenty of unique finds.     4. Alamo Antique Mall

    If you're looking for something different from what's available at most antique malls in town, then head over to the Alamo Antique Mall. 

    This mall has been around since the 1940s, and it's the largest antique mall in Texas. It's home to more than 200 shops, so there's sure to be something that catches your eye. It is a treasure trove of vintage goods. With an inventory that ranges from vintage clothing to antique furniture, artwork, and more. 

    It is open on weekends from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., except during the Christmas season when it's closed until after New Year's Day.

    There's also an entertainment venue that hosts live music every Friday night and Saturday afternoon.

    5. Mission Open Air Market

    The Mission Open Air Market is another in our list of great places to shop locally and also gives you access to some of San Antonio's best food trucks. 

    The Mission Open Air Market is a flea market located in the heart of San Antonio.  It has been around since 1948 and is one of the oldest flea markets in Texas. 

    This market offers a wide variety of items from clothing and accessories to household items, furniture, antiques, and collectibles. Also, you'll find vendors with local goods from handmade items to produce, spices, and more.

    The market also hosts live music performances throughout the weekend, so you can enjoy some entertainment while you shop!
